Richarlison playfully suggested that new Tottenham teammate Mohammed Kudus might actually be Brazilian after they linked up for two goals in Spurs' 3-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday, August 16.

Richarlison praises Mohammed Kudus

The Brazilian was full of praise for new teammate Kudus following Tottenham Hotspur’s flawless start to the Premier League season.

According to Flashscore, Kudus set up both of the Brazilian’s goals in Spurs’ 3-0 win against Burnley, as the team built on their strong performance in the UEFA Super Cup despite the defeat, delivering a dominant first domestic game under Frank, which was sealed by Brennan Johnson’s strike in the 66th minute.

Richarlison’s second goal, an audacious overhead kick that beat Burnley debutant Martin Dubravka, grabbed the spotlight after he connected with Kudus’ cross from the right in the first half.

Kudus delivered an almost identical assist from his position on the right of Tottenham’s front three, alongside Richarlison and left-winger Johnson. His pass was slightly behind Richarlison, requiring the Brazilian to produce an acrobatic finish to convert.
