Liverpool enter the new season with an upgraded squad, having invested over £200million to sign players such as Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, and ex-Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.

The reigning champions revealed another addition on Friday, with Giovanni Leoni joining from Parma just hours before Anfield's kick-off.

Meanwhile, with Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi, and Milos Kerkez all gone, Bournemouth's defensive line is unrecognizable. The club sealed the deal for Bafode Diakite just two days before their game against Liverpool, with the former Lille man now becoming their second most expensive signing ever.
