Barcelona fans have turned their backs on a key player following the club’s heartbreaking Champions League semi-final exit to Inter Milan in a 7-6 aggregate thriller.

What unfolded was another end-to-end classic, as both teams battled through 120 minutes of drama.
Per talkSPORT, Inter eventually edged the tie 4-3 on the night and 7-6 on aggregate, with standout performances from Lautaro Martinez and Yann Sommer guiding the Italians to the final.
But while several players shone, one Barcelona star has been singled out by fans for the wrong reasons—many pointing fingers at him for the team’s collapse and demanding he be sold in the summer.
After Raphinha’s 87th-minute goal put Barcelona 3-2 ahead and seemingly on course for the final, substitute Francesco Acerbi netted a last-gasp equaliser for Inter to force extra time.
Then came the decisive moment. Davide Frattesi slotted home the winner, sending the Nerazzurri through.
Barcelona fans want Ronald Araujo sold
Barcelona fans believe Ronald Araujo was responsible for both goals and didn’t hold back their frustrations online.
The Uruguay international started the game on the bench but replaced Inigo Martinez in the 76th minute.

From that point, things unravelled. He was caught out marking Acerbi for the equaliser and later failed to contain Marcus Thuram, who created the chance for Frattesi’s extra-time winner.
On X, @Ilychapo fumed:
"Sell him. How many times have I said this? Sell him. Sell him. Sell him."
@AsonguDaryl added:
·"Yeah. How on earth will thuram take him to the corner and turn and make such a pass. This is unforgivable. We need to cash on him. Bring in Tah."
@katakurikpowder commented:
"He should be sold if Barcelona wants to compete seriously. He's a B grade defender he'll just be exposed in top level match. At most a good back up."
Another added:
"This needs to be his final match for the club."
A third vented:
"He should be shipped to Juventus this summer. This guy and Ter Stegen can’t be my captains."
One more said:
"Players like him make you hate the sport. The anger boiling inside me right now isn’t good for my health, man."
