Several Ghanaian prophets have risen to prominence in recent days following the Obuasi helicopter crash that killed eight individuals.
The eight were aboard an Air Force helicopter headed to Obuasi when they crashed into the Sikaman Forest in Adansi Afuokrom.
All passengers on board – five government officials and three Air Force personnel – were killed.

Ghana's Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, identified the civilian casualties as Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, the Deputy National Security Coordinator, Limuna Muniru, Former Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Samuel Sarpong, and Former Parliamentary Candidate for Obuasi East, Samuel Aboagye.
Military casualties included Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah
Several prophets, including De Lighter Roja, Fire Ogya, and others, claimed to have foreseen the events.
Prophet Roja in particular earned widespread acclaim after a video of him warning Omane Boamah before the crash surfaced.
Roja had asked anyone close to the Minister to call him for help in averting a disaster, but he claimed he was threatened in response.
His success opened the door for other doom prophets to emerge, with many of them sharing dire warnings for President John Mahama and other members of his government.

Asiedu Nketia said, regardless of what the prophets claim, they would continue to work towards delivering on the better Ghana agenda with no fear or favour.
"You've all heard about various prophecies, some threatening our leadership that more calamities are on the way unless certain things are done. My belief is that what will happen will happen. We are not going to be cowed away from taking the necessary decisions that will restore this country." General Mosquito said.

Speaking with YEN.com.gh, blogger Chris Osei Kofi said Asiedu Nketia should be applauded for his stance against doom prophecies.
"Johnson Asiedu Nketia’s strong stance against doom prophecies is very bold. In recent years, the growing trend of so-called prophets predicting calamities for political leaders has raised a lot of eyebrows. These prophecies often serve as tools of manipulation rather than genuine spiritual insight." he said.
He added: "By declaring that what will happen will happen and refusing to bow to such pressure, General Mosquito has sent a message that governance should be guided by policy, accountability, and courage, not fearmongering."
Media personality warns Roja over doom prophecies
Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Prophet Roja received a stern warning from popular Ghanaian broadcaster Oheneba Bennie over his incessant prophecies of doom.
Oheneba, during a radio interview, told Prophet Roja that if the doom prophecies came to fruition, it would be the prophet himself who would face the consequences.
He said the prophet should entreat his God to prevent doom from befalling anyone he had prophesied about, otherwise he would personally hold him responsible.
