Ghanaian journalist and political commentator Kevin Taylor, the founder of Loud Silence Media, has been actively touring the country since arriving from the United States of America.

His homecoming has seen him travel from region to region and appear on multiple radio stations, marking his return to Ghana after many years abroad.

Kevin Taylor is widely known for his fierce criticism of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and is openly aligned with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

His political stance, particularly his vocal opposition to the NPP, previously fueled speculation that he could not return to Ghana due to alleged threats of arrest and other forms of retaliation.

On July 29, 2025, Kevin Taylor visited Tamale as part of his national tour.

During an interview on Radio Gold, based in Accra, Taylor announced that he would be visiting Kumasi soon despite the backlash and threats.

He explained that his grandmother resides in Kumasi, and he intended to visit her, emphasising that the threats do not intimidate him because he is “a son of the Kumasi soil.”

During his trip to Tamale, Kevin Taylor had a surprise encounter with popular Ghanaian YouTuber, vlogger, and travel content creator Wode Maya.

Wode Maya and Kevin Taylor exchanged pleasantries after seeing each other for the first time.

The two met at what is believed to be Tamale Airport and shared mutual admiration for each other’s advocacy work. In an X post, Kevin Taylor praised Wode Maya, writing:

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kevin Taylor had been spotted at Tamale Airport, contrary to circulating rumors that he was heading to Kumasi.

While some expected the footage to confirm his visit to the Ashanti Region, it was later verified that the video showed him arriving in the Northern Region.
