Popular Ghanaian preacher, Prophet Eliphaz Kutin of the House of Prophecy Ministries, has been reported dead.

News of the popular prophet's demise went rife on social media after the Odo Ahomaso show host broke the news during a live broadcast.

A video, making rounds on TikTok, sighted by YEN.com.gh, shows the deeply moving moment when the host of Odo Ahomaso, Bella De All Rounder, announced that one of their panellists had passed away.

It was at that moment that she indicated the person was Prophet Eliphaz Kutin.

The announcement was received with sorrow and pain as a panellist on the show expressed astonishment that the man of God was no more.

She recalled the fond memories of Prophet Eliphaz Kutin and recounted the moments she visited the late prophet's church.

"I knew him, and he was a true man of God. I have even been to his church. To be frank, when I heard of his demise, I was immediately downhearted because on Saturday I listened to him on Adom," she shared.

Prophet Eliphaz was also a panellist on Asempa FM's Girls Girls show.

Reverend Major dies

The news of Prophet Eliphaz Kutin’s passing marks the second prominent Ghanaian preacher's death this year.

Reverend Major, known for sharing his views on media programmes, also died on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

His demise was officially confirmed by Oyerepa TV in an episode of their kids' reality show Daakye Hemaa on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

Reverend Major, before his death, was a judge at the Daakye Hemaa reality show on Oyerepa TV.

GhPage TV's Kojo Rashad, who also had Reverend Major as a panellist on his show mourned the departed soul.

The Rash Hour shared the news of the incident, stating that the outspoken man of God had fallen ill and died at the hospital where he had been rushed.

At the time of writing this report, the video had generated over 1,000 likes.
