In a video trending on social media, the yet-to-be-identified lady made a comparison between Nigeria's airport system and that of Ghana.

She said the latter has better airport systems in general that deliver quality services to travellers, both local and international.

The Nigerian lady then used this as her basis to justify her argument that Ghana is light years ahead of Ghana as far as airport service quality is concerned.

According to her, she had an experience at a Nigerian airport where travelers typically have to pay to use luggage trolleys, a basic airport amenity that is provided free of charge in Ghana.

In her words:

“Do you guys know that in Ghana, the trolley that you will put your luggage in and carry it out… it is free. But in Nigeria, you have to pay.”

Nigerian airports criticised over trolley charges

While narrating her supposed experience at the Nigerian airport, she explained that she became increasingly agitated when one of the vendors allegedly took advantage of the arrival of multiple flights to increase prices arbitrarily.

“When the young lady realised that there were multiple flights that had landed, she increased the price. It was interesting because she veered away from the price displayed on the screens, insisting that it was not the rate anymore," she claimed.

She maintained that many passengers, including herself and her daughter, chose not to pay the inflated amount and instead carried their luggage.
