The Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, has reacted to the brouhaha that has arisen from the directive for religious leaders in the country to officially share any prophecy or spiritual insight of national significance with his office for review.
Speaking in an interview with Joy News on Thursday, August 14, the former Sports Minister called for calm and emphasised the importance of the move taken by the government.

He explained that Ghana has many seasoned men of God who are well-versed and have the capacity to review prophecies brought to his office.
"Again, people make it seem like, who will assess it? Hello, this is Ghana. We have thousands, hundreds of thousands of prophets, men of God, servants of God, who have proven themselves in this country, both locally and internationally. So, the capacity is there. I will work with all of them."
He also stated that prophets seeking a private audience under the guise of delivering a prophetic message to the President will not have the chance to do so and will need to go through his office.
