The tragic news has thrown the state into gloom as relatives, supporters, and fans express their shock.
According to a philanthropist, Dr Omane Boamah, paid GH₵80k for a nine-year-old physically challenged boy to undergo surgery a few days before his tragic passing.
The young boy, Setor, gained viral attention after videos of him walking to school with the aid of a plastic chair due to his physical disability.

In a social media post, the philanthropist established that the late minister cancelled all his appointments to ensure that the young boy's surgery was successful.
"Dr Omane Boamah whyyyyy?😭😭. So you couldn’t wait to see Setor’s Transformation 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭….. You canceled all your appointment last week just to pay for Setor's full Surgery," the charity worker said.
"He had a Successful Surgery and you arranged to meet the little boy tomorrow, just for you to leave us today😭.. Death whyyyyyyy???????😭😭😭😭😭. RIP Sir and I understand why you were in a Rush to pay the bill before this week💔," he added.
