In her account, she claimed Theresa Abebrese's father married her off to a wealthy man, despite sponsoring Daddy Lumba's trip to Germany.
According to Mama Acheampong, Daddy Lumba was deeply hurt by the incident and later released songs that appeared to throw subtle shades at Theresa’s husband.
However, these claims have been refuted by Theresa Abebrese's family. Speaking in a video, Theresa's relative stated that Daddy Lumba first betrayed her.
The relative indicated that after Daddy Lumba relocated abroad, he married Akosua Serwaa, ending his relationship with Theresa.
"We all know that Daddy Lumba wanted to marry Theresa. I agree, but Lumba married before Theresa. Daddy Lumba betrayed her. He got married before." the relative stated.
