A close friend of late Ghanaian musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has set the record straight on who Efia Odo is to the late music legend.

Instead, he noted that Efia Odo was related to him - Fosu. He clarified that she is his niece and the daughter of one of his siblings, and not that of Daddy Lumba, as has been speculated.
There has also been speculation suggesting that the socialite is Daddy Lumba’s secret daughter, which gained traction after Moira Araba Dawson-Williams, the mother of Kennedy Agyapong's child, took to social media to accuse the late musician of neglect.
Dawson-Williams' comments followed the resurfacing of an old video where Efia Odo referred to the music legend as her 'dad' with warmth and affection.

However, Efia Odo clarified after Daddy Lumba's death that she was not the late musician's daughter.
Fosu confirmed her recent statement and clarified that she is, in fact, the daughter of his younger sibling.
"Efia Odo is the daughter of my younger sibling. She knows Daddy Lumba and they even met sometime ago," he said during an interview.
