The founder of Glory House Chapel International, Prophet Paul Tabiri, has stirred controversy over his utterances about Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.

In an interview sighted by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok account of @ghpacktv1, the man of God claimed that the late highlife legend would have known that his time on Earth was up.
The musician died on the morning of Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital in Accra.
The outspoken man of God has since claimed that Daddy Lumba would be reborn in a few years' time.
"By five years, Lumba will be back. Lumba will be in Ghana; his own child will be the one to give birth to him. Lumba knew his time was up. He is a spiritual person. Where he reached, if you don’t have any spiritual backing, you won’t get there," he said in the interview.

Daddy Lumba: Counsellor fumes over death announcement
Meanwhile, Counsellor George Lutterodt criticised how the demise of Charles Kojo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, was made public.
Speaking on Power FM, the Ghanaian media personality said that traditional customs were overlooked in the announcement of the musician's death.
He said the decision by Serwaa Amihere to validate claims on social media, by going on DL FM to announce Daddy Lumba’s death, was wrong.
He also took issue with the highlife legend's lawyer releasing a statement confirming that his client had passed.
He further stated that the family should have been the ones to officially announce the passing, instead of Serwaa Amihere or Daddy Lumba’s lawyers.
