Auntie Naa Addresses Claims She Squandered Funeral Funds for Girls SP in Video

Ghanaian media personality Eunice Amerley Nortey, popularly known as Auntie Naa, has addressed rumours surrounding the funeral donations of her former colleague, Girls SP.

Auntie Naa, according to the deceased's family, had hijacked a huge portion of Girls SP's funds for her funeral and given just a small portion to them.

However, Auntie Naa debunked the claims in a video, stressing that they were untrue. She stated that she wasn't even at the meeting when the family was accounting for the funeral funds.

The radio host made the remarks when the family members of Girls SP went to thank Auntie Naa on her show.

"I wasn't even present when the family was rendering accounts of the funeral donations. I did my part, and because I was tired, I couldn't join them on Monday when the family sat to count the money from the funeral," Auntie Naa said in the video.

Auntie Naa slammed by Girls SP's son

Tension has been brewing between the family of the late Girls SP and the popular media personality, following serious allegations surrounding the handling of public funeral donations.

Auntie Naa, who played a visible role in fundraising efforts after her colleague's tragic passing, has been accused of withholding the majority of the funeral contributions.

Girls SP's eldest, Yaw Boateng, claimed the family was given only a small portion of the funds and the remainder remained unaccounted for.

However, these claims have been contested.

Girls SP's family head stated that these claims were false. He confirmed that Auntie Naa was absent when the family met to account for the monies received.

Meanwhile, the media personality stressed in her video that she would forever remain grateful to Girls SP because she had been very good to her when she was alive.

As such, she urged the public to disregard any claims suggesting that she confiscated any funeral donations or made a profit from Girls SP's funeral.
