Nii Adotey, popularly known as Era Money, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at his residence in Accra. Reports indicate that the young man was found in a pool of blood.

Sad scenes from his funeral have emerged online, with family and friends wailing in various videos that have surfaced online.

A woman believed to be the partner of Nii Adotey wept bitterly and refused to be consoled.

She was very heartbroken over the young man's passing and expressed it at the funeral. Actor Don Little was spotted at the event.

Friends and loved ones gathered at the Islamic Cemetery in Madina to pay their last respects to the young man who died under mysterious circumstances. Relatives in attendance wore white and black, their faces marked with sorrow.

Ayisha Modi mourns Nii Adotey

Ayisha Modi was very hurt about the passing of Nii Adotey and took to social media to share her frustrations. She called him 'a beloved son and little brother' and apologised for not taking the threats on his life seriously.

In a social media post, she opened up about a land dispute involving herself, Nii, and another young man that may have led to his passing. Ayisha penned a heartfelt message to mourn his loss.
