In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, Ralph accused the nurses of ignoring a seriously injured victim despite his perilous condition.

He said when they confronted nurses about why they were not being urgent in carrying out their duties, they claimed this was how things were done in Ghana.

The alleged response irritated the activist, who slammed the nurses in a viral video.

"There should be a sense of urgency, please. How can you tell me we can't give you pressure because this is Ghana? It hurts. What do you mean by this is Ghana? Do you mean that in this country, people can die like animals and nothing happens? I came with a minor issue, but there are people whose conditions are much worse. The guy's state is terrible, and you're telling us this is Ghana, what does that mean?" he fumed.

The Instagram video of Ralph St Williams' reported encounter with the nurses is below.

In a second video, Ralph complained about the lack of medical care he was receiving for his own ailment.

He alleged that he had been bleeding for over an hour and did not receive any care from the nurses.
