In the video, the vehicle, which had tinted glass to prevent people from viewing inside, hurriedly left the premises of the EOCO headquarters, with Shatta Wale allegedly part of its occupants.
As the vehicle departed, some individuals who entered the premises of the EOCO building rushed outside to inform the remaining fans that the musician had exited the building, leading many of them, including motor riders, to rush to follow the vehicle to his house and catch a glimpse of him after his release.
Other members of Shatta Wale's fanbase also stayed behind on the streets closer to the EOCO headquarters, awaiting him and his associates' exit from the premises after his detention.

Shatta Wale's release from EOCO custody
Shatta Wale was released from the custody of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in the evening on Thursday, August 21, 2025, after his detention.
The musician's Public Relations manager, Sammy Flex, officially confirmed the SM Boss's release to the numerous fans who had converged on the streets in front of the EOCO headquarters.
He shared that Shatta Wale had secretly exited the premises and gone home and would address the fans in a TikTok Live session.
In an interview with the media, Sammy Flex announced that Shatta Wale's bail conditions were reduced from GH¢10 million to GH¢5 million with two sureties before he was able to secure his release from EOCO's custody.
The new bail conditions also require the dancehall musician to report to EOCO three times a week as they continue with their investigations.
Why was Shatta Wale being detained?
In a press statement on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the management of Shatta Wale announced that he had been detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in connection with investigations into the purchase of his 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
According to an official statement from EOCO, Shatta Wale was questioned for nearly four hours and was unable to identify the person who sold him the car.
Officials from the financial crime agency had previously visited his Trasacco Valley home and seized the car after a request from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice.
The security agencies had linked Shatta Wale's car to a Ghanaian man named Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month (seven years) jail term in the US over some financial crimes.
