In a press release, the agency noted that they carried out a raid at the SM boss's Trasacco Valley residence and retrieved the vehicle after a request from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice.
The security agencies had linked Shatta Wale's car to a Ghanaian man named Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month (seven years) jail term in the US over some financial crimes.
EOCO noted that the On God hitmaker and a former National Signal Bureau official were persons of interest and would be invited to assist with their ongoing investigations.
