An old video, which happens to be the last time the highlife legend Daddy Lumba made an appearance on stage with his wife, Odo Broni, has resurfaced after his demise, which unfortunately happened on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

The old video was captured at Daddy Lumba's concert in Koforidua on Saturday, April 19th, as part of an Easter celebration.
The much-anticipated concert, which was held at De Ofosu Plaza Hotel, started at 7 pm and was attended by hundreds of revellers.
In the trending video, the Makra Mo crooner decided to start his performance from backstage as he walked through a large crowd of fans and bloggers towards the stage.
The surviving wife of the late musician, Odo Broni, was spotted beside him, with the musician holding onto her hand tightly.
To ensure their security, personnel of the Ghana Police Service and the military walked behind and around the celebrity couple.

Many people hailed Odo Broni for playing an impactful role in the music career of the late Daddy Lumba, following his relationships with Theresa Abebrese and ex-wife Akosua Serwaa.

Daddy Lumba’s Children Attend National Candlelight Vigil
YEN.com.gh reported that the National Candlelight Vigil in honour of legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Black Star Square.
A particularly touching moment from the vigil was the presence of Daddy Lumba’s children, who were seen seated together in the front row during the ceremony.
