He explained that the video he shared was captured at the Makra Mo crooner's residence. King Promise narrated that he had gone to Lumba's house to sample the late musician's classics and create a new fusion sound, but unfortunately, fate had other plans.
"I write this with a heavy heart. 2 months ago, the legend & I decided to work on a joint album together. He stayed away from the public eye but invited me into his personal home. We were going to sample some of his classics and create a new fusion sound, as he loved what I had already done. Imagine Daddy Lumba telling me how much he loved me & was proud of me."

Lil Win blasts Sheldon over film criticism
YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Lil Win has responded strongly to criticism from YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon regarding his upcoming film, Ibrahim Traoré: The Last African Hero.
Sheldon had questioned why Lil Win chose to create a movie about the Burkinabè leader instead of honouring the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba with a film. In reaction, Lil Win expressed his frustration, stating that creatives should have the freedom to explore any story they believe will inspire audiences.
The exchange sparked heated debates online, with fans discussing both the film and the need to honour Ghanaian icons.
