In a series of photos seen by YEN.com.gh, the former child actress, who goes by the Obideaba name on TikTok, looked all grown up as she flaunted her two children.

In a video she recently shared on her official TikTok page, Anastasia Owusu beamed with a smile as she flaunted her beautiful looks in front of a mirror in a room.

She expressed excitement as she recorded herself jamming to Ghanaian rapper and singer Amerado's 2024 smash hit single, Playman, which features King Paluta.

Anastasia Owusu's movie career in Kumawood

Anastasia Owusu rose to prominence in the Kumawood movie industry after featuring in the Osewus Ventures-produced 2005 movie, Obideaba, which was a big hit among many movie lovers in the country.

She starred in the movie alongside notable actors like Nana Ama McBrown, Portia Asare Boateng, Agya Koo, Mercy Asiedu, Morris Owusu Appiah, Samuel Ofori, Sandra Adu, and others.

In the movie, she played the character of a younger version of Portia Asare Boateng's Obideaba character, who was the subject of maltreatment from her adopted mother at home.

Anastasia Owusu also starred in other notable Kumawood movies before she quit acting and disappeared from the limelight. She announced her return to acting in April and featured in the Heart to Heart TV series on Hannah TV and Odo TV.

The former child actress is the proud mother of two children and is currently enrolled as a student at Wesley College of Education, a teacher education college in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, in Ghana.

Several months ago, she announced that she had lost her mother, Obaapanin Akosua Boahemaa. She was buried on Saturday, April 2025, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Anastasia Owusu is regarded as one of the first child actors in the Kumawood industry and paved the way for the likes of Maame Serwaa, Yaa Jackson, and Spendilove Acheampong.
