Controversial Ghanaian preacher, Nana Agradaa, broke hearts on social media as she sent a sweet birthday message to her daughter from prison.

Nana Agradaa, whose real name is Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, was jailed for fifteen years with hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
She was accused of defrauding multiple victims who attended her church after promising to double their money during a televised advertisement.
Prosecutors charged her with two counts of defrauding by false pretences and one count of charlatanic advertisement.
After more than two years of back and forth in court, Nana Agradaa was found guilty and incarcerated in the Nsawam Prison.
Nana Agradaa wishes daughter happy birthday
On Wednesday, August 20, Nana Agradaa’s daughter Rihanna celebrated her birthday.
The birthday was the first she had to celebrate since her mother’s incarceration in July.
Nana Agradaa’s husband, Angel Asiamah, took to his TikTok handle to share a video of Rihanna seated in a car and holding her phone.
She smiled happily as Asiamah played the song, Happy Birthday Sweet Girl by Mila Dallas in the background.
Asiamah noted in the caption that the song was Nana Agradaa's birthday gift to her daughter.

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Nana Agradaa’s church had fallen into a state of disrepair following her imprisonment.
A video shared by blogger The Onaapo Family showed the church looking abandoned and run-down, with its premises overtaken by filth and weeds.
The state of Nana Agradaa’s church stirred debate on social media as many people blamed her husband, Angel Asiamah, for failing to properly handle and take care of the church after she was jailed.
