The controversial Ghanaian preacher, whose real name is Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, was jailed by an Accra Circuit Court for 15 years with hard labour on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Nana Agradaa was convicted on two counts of defrauding by false pretences and one count of charlatanic advertisement.

A former traditional priestess turned evangelist, Nana Agradaa was accused of defrauding multiple victims through a 2022 televised broadcast, during which she falsely claimed to possess spiritual powers capable of doubling money.

Her fraudulent promises caused several individuals to hand over large sums of money in the hope of receiving miraculous financial returns from her that were never delivered.

Following her imprisonment, her husband and junior pastor, Angel Asiamah, took over the reins of the church as the lead pastor.

In a new video seen by YEN.com.gh on TikTok, Nana Agradaa’s church appeared to have disintegrated just a few weeks after her imprisonment.

The video showed the church’s surroundings overrun by filth, weeds, and rainwater, with the wall looking crumbled.

The church’s overall aesthetic appeared rundown, sparking concern online.

According to the video’s narrator, they visited the church on a Sunday expecting it to be busy, only to find it empty and abandoned.
