Ghanaian actress Nana Yaa Appiah has courted attention after her videos at Roseyln Ngissah's mother's funeral in Kumasi surfaced online.

Nana Yaa Appiah, in recent videos by YEN.com.gh, was captured showcasing her colleague Roselyn Ngissah at the funeral held in Kumasi on August 16 and 17.

In one video, the Kumawood veteran with dollar notes in her hand began raining them on Rosely Ngissah and Obaapa Christy as the bereaved actress danced at her mother's funeral

The gesture from Nana Yaa Appiah was to cheer Roselyn up and hype Obaapa Christy as she performed.

Nana Yaa Appiah observed a brief hiatus in honour of her daughter Stephanie Appiah, a student at Kwabenya Senior High School.

In an interview after the 17-year-old's passing, Nana Yaa Appiah recounted her final moments and gave out the heartbreaking details of her daughter's illness.

According to her, Stephanie had been unwell but hid her condition so as not to harm her chances of participating in student elections at her school.
