According to him, the late musician's lawyers would take severe legal action against anyone who would flout the family's directives.
He said:
"There are some people creating fan clubs and making numerous T-shirts and other stuff without informing the family for permission. If we see something like that, we will let our lawyer deal with you. If you make any malicious statement, you will hear from our lawyer because he (Daddy Lumba) is a royal from Otumfuo's Palace."
Mr Kofi Owusu also warned prophets who made false prophecies or individuals who would make false allegations about Daddy Lumba to desist from such bad practices.
He added that he and other members of the family were only interested in organising a befitting burial for the late musician.

Reactions to Abusuapanin's warning after Manhyia visit
YEN.com.gh has gathered some comments from social media users below:
jib_carter commented:
"Masa masa masa, Daddy Lumba is our own Lumba. Have they bought one CD or attended one of his shows before? The man is a legend, and we’re all mourning and seeing their useless words. Family members are always thinking about making money with their deceased relatives."
official_kramo7 wrote:
"I don’t see the rationale behind this arrangement about the T-shirt. No matter how great and talented Daddy Lumba is/was, it was the fans who made him what he is. Abusuapayin, please reconsider because people will cash out on this with or without your approval."
justiceassafuahtayi commented:
"Ah, I am sure they want to print themselves and make money."
