Popular Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey has courted attention following her visit to Daddy Lumba's residence on Friday, August 1, 2025.

The actress was among prominent personalities, including former president William Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Minority Leader Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, who visited the highlife music legend's home to commiserate with his family and sign the book of condolences.
In a viral video seen by YEN.com.gh, Emelia Brobbey was visibly distraught as she arrived at Daddy Lumba's residence in East Legon in her luxurious vehicle.

The Kumawood actress immediately broke down in tears as she alighted from the vehicle and had to be consoled by the late musician's manager, Roman Fada, who accompanied her into the plush house.
Emelia Brobbey later kept her composure and paid tribute to the late Daddy Lumba by signing the book of condolence.

The actress shed tears and covered her face with a white face towel as she shared some heartfelt words about the late Daddy Lumba.
Emelia Brobbey noted that she had been left devastated since the musician, for whom she expressed her love, passed away.
In a sorrowful voice, she said:
"I am broken. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Lumba. I don't even know what to say. I am broken. I just want to say, Rest Well, Daddy Lumba."
