Agradaa: Appiah Biblical Speaks After Court Appearance in Case Against Embattled Televangelist

Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Enim, popularly known as Appiah Biblical, has spoken after appearing at the Accra High Court with Agradaa over their ongoing legal battle on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

In an interview with the media, the prophet shared an update on the case, where he highlighted Agradaa's plea to the Attorney General Dominic Akuritinga Ayine.
He said:
"We were supposed to meet in Criminal Court 3 today. When we got here, the defendant informed the court that she intended to plead for a bargain. I cannot mention her name because the case is still ongoing. I cannot mention her name because of contempt."

Appiah Biblical noted that the embattled televangelist's legal team presented their plea in court, prompting the judge to adjourn the case. He stated that he and the evangelist are expected to meet in court on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
The prophet said he and his legal team would consider Agradaa's plea bargain agreement before deciding to continue the case.

Appiah Biblical noted that they would let the judge give a ruling on the case if they disagreed with the televangelist's plea during their next encounter in court.
He said:
"The judge has adjourned the case to October 21, 2025. We will decide whether to continue the case if we find an agreement. If we disagree with them, we will allow the judge to decide on the matter."
The prophet recounted the genesis of the matter, stating that he took the case to the Attorney General for advice before he and his legal team decided to bring it to the High Court due to its severity.

Following their appearance in court, reports emerged that Agradaa was seeking a plea bargain agreement with Attorney General Dominic Akuritinga Ayine in the case.
Agradaa and two other individuals have been accused of allegedly breaching the Cybersecurity Act. They were also charged for sharing explicit images of the Appiah Biblical.

Agradaa seeks case transfer to Eastern Region
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Agradaa sought her defamation case with Empress Gifty to be transferred to the Eastern Region due to her serving a 15-year jail sentence at the Nsawam prison.
The televangelist's legal team went to court to file the application during their appearance at the Tema High Court on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Empress Gifty's lawyer, Patrick Tawiah-Amprofi (Esq), also shared his and his client's response to Agradaa's application.
