Actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has shared an update on her health, the fifth arm surgery she underwent recently, and addressed other pressing matters on her TikTok Live.

McBrown speaks on recuperation after arm surgery
In a video screen-recorded from McBrown's TikTok Live, the star actress opened up on the main reason she has been away from the screen, disclosing to her fans that she has been unwell for some time.
The popular actress also took some time to list and expound on some of the challenges she has been experiencing. One of the things she pointed out was that due to the surgery, she is unable to make frequent TikTok Lives, take on dance challenges and be active on social media.
"I have not been well, and the reason is I had to do a surgery on my arm," she said.
Delving deeper into why she had the arm surgery, she pointed out that she had been struggling with it since it was crooked, a fact that many of her fans were already familiar with, having watched her on TV and in movies over a long period.
It is also instructive to note that this was the fifth arm surgery she underwent after being involved in a life-threatening car accident with her husband, Maxwell Mensah, on the George Walker Bush Highway near Lapaz in Accra in January 2013.
While interacting with her fans, she reiterated to them if they had been watching McBrown's Kitchen, lately they would have noticed her struggling and far off from being in her best element. For instance, she disclosed that the last Onua Showtime episodes she featured as the headline presenter were the last ones she did before undergoing surgery.
"Before I could finish recording, the number of painkillers I would have taken, they were a lot," she opened up.
In the same video, the star actress mentioned that until one undergoes a fracture surgery for a broken bone, they might not understand the ordeal and pain she was going through.
Mrs McBrown Mensah assured her fans and fervent followers that she would return to their screens in no time.
