According to MOG Beatz, Shatta Wale claimed production credits on a number of his creations to obtain a multi-million dollar advance payment from an international company.

"You scammed an international company using my intellectual property because you wanna buy expensive cars to “flex” on your colleagues?? Old man, you’ll regret touching my work!" MOG Beatz noted in a post on August 18.

The renowned producer behind some of Ghana's biggest Afrobeats and hiplife classics said Shatta Wale's sinister motives influenced him to have two of his albums removed from Apple Music and threatened that the On God hitmaker would suffer more losses.

Shatta Wale, in response to MOG Beatz allegations, called the aggrieved producer a liar and a betrayer. He said,

"Imagine Shatta Wale works with you and he doesn't pay you 🤣🤣. Noooo, that’s not Shatta Wale. Person weh deh flip for street like this 🤣🤣. Liars and betrayers, puxxys 🖕."
"When I was paying for your mother’s eye problems, medical bills, giving you money to buy studio equipment as payment for the productions, that was a scam, right? No problem!!!!! It’s people like you that don’t make artiste wanna even help some of these upcoming producers like you .. come let’s sit man to man and let me see if you can tell me this in my face..Ungrateful pig 🐷 Very foolish boy!!"

MOG Beatz maintains that Shatta Wale's remarks about financing his studio equipment and his mother's bills are false.

"No bills, no beats, no equipment were ever paid for. If you had proof, your albums wouldn’t be deleted. More records are going down, & you’ll be forced to prove full ownership. When Waka Music Limited can’t recoup the catalogue you signed away, you’ll have bigger problems than me," MOG Beatz noted.
